Kutztown University has announced the 2014 Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society inductees. The induction ceremony will take place Thursday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. in the McFarland Student Union's Alumni Auditorium.

More than 1,600 students have been named to the Fall 2013 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Wilkes University Interim Provost Terese Wignot announced the Dean's List for the Fall 2013 Semester. To be named to the Dean's List, students must obtain a minimum 3.4 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits.

The University of Scranton has announced it's Dean's List, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2013 fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List. The list includes students from the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, the Kania School of Management, the Panuska College of Professional Studies and the College of Graduate and Continuing Education. Lebanon Valley College welcomed 482 new freshmen and transfer students to its beautiful Annville campus in August 2013, bringing total undergraduate enrollment to an all-time high of 1,648 students.

Wilkes University would like to welcome the 617 incoming freshmen students that comprise its Class of 2017. It is the 80th freshmen class in University history and the third time that the University has a first-year class of more than 600 students.

Local residnets were among the 137 University of Scranton students who completed the Scranton Emerging Leaders program during the 2012-2013 academic year. The program is a series of weekly workshops for students to develop and enhance leadership skills at the Jesuit university. The program focuses on communication, social change and leadership style. Lebanon Valley College's Inquiry 2013 coincided with the Council for Undergraduate Research's week-long celebration of student research and achievement. LVC celebrates the academic, dramatic, athletic, musical, and experiential achievements of the student body. Events began on Sunday, April 14, and concluded Saturday, April 20. Inquiry 2013 included poster presentations, art displays, poetry readings, oral research presentations, and musical recitals. Every academic department on campus nominated students to share their accomplishments during that week.
