Lebanon Valley College has announced its Dean's List recipients for the fall 2014 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Lebanon Valley College students get the chance to play college sports at a high level while pursuing their intellectual and career goals, and enjoying other interests. While competing for conference championships and earning national rankings, our student-athletes have the flexibility to double major, study abroad, and pursue internships--opportunities that will inform their lives long after their playing careers end.

Nineteen Lebanon Valley College students recently attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences. The event was hosted by the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at UMBC along with the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Lebanon Valley College is a four year residential college and believes that an LVC education is the result of distinctively curricular and co-curricular experiences in class, on campus, and in the residence halls. Approximately 1,200 LVC students live in the residence halls on campus each year.

More than 60 students perform in Albright College's four choral ensembles, singing in various concerts - on campus and off - throughout the 2014-15 academic year.

More than 90 Albright students tutor their peers in subject areas such as Spanish, math, science, accounting and writing.

Lebanon Valley College students compete at the highest levels as college athletes.

Wilkes University is launching the first collegiate marching band in northeast Pennsylvania. The Wilkes University Marching Colonels debut at the University's first home football game versus Muhlenberg College at 1 p.m. on September 6. The band performs in drum corps style and includes wind and percussion musicians as well as color guard.

Lebanon Valley College is recognizing its high-achieving first-year students for receiving scholarships from the College. Among the incoming class of 448 students, 63 percent rank in the top 30 percent of their high school class; 12 students were valedictorians; 52 percent of students earned a scholarship worth half-tuition; and five students received the full-tuition Allwein Scholarship. Diplomas were awarded to more than 330 traditional, Accelerated Degree Program and master's degree graduates at Albright College's 155th Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 25, 2014.

Lebanon Valley College's 145th Commencement Exercises May 10 graduated 523 students, who received their degrees in the LVC Gymnasium. The 416 graduating seniors were joined by 29 doctor of physical therapy candidates, 78 master's degree candidates, and 31 students who graduated in December 2013 and have now formally received their degrees.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
