Lebanon Valley College wishes to congratulte nearly more than 700 students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

More than 1,725 students have been named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Lebanon Valley College recognized nearly 250 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen fall athletic teams.

More than 100 Lebanon Valley College students attended the College's seventh annual Leadership Conference on November 5. This year's theme was "People, Purpose, Passion."

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has recognized 10 Lebanon Valley College softball players for their outstanding academic achievements during the 2017 campaign.

Freshmen at Wilkes University were elected to serve the Wilkes community as members of the student government. Student Government is the major decision- and policy-making organization for the student body at Wilkes University, providing student input on University policy and governing extracurricular life at Wilkes. These students are asked to represent the entire student body, acting as a liaison between the students and administration. They plan and coordinate activities on campus, and promote fellowship, scholarship, and the name of Wilkes University.

The Residence Hall Representatives Association (RHRA) executive board consists of the president, secretary, treasurer, and three hall representatives. Each executive board member is responsible for individualized duties during their 10-month position. Additionally, the executive board strives to provide valuable leadership experiences to all residents. Albright College welcomes approximately 1,700 undergraduate students for the 2017-18 academic year.

Lebanon Valley College's Pride of The Valley Marching Band will feature 135 students this year. The marching band performs at all home football games as well as appearances at various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

The quiet and serene campus turned quickly to excitement during Move-in Day at Lebanon Valley College. Happy greetings among roommates and staff assisting new families blended with the sounds of coaching whistles on the fields and music rising from the Pride of The Valley Marching Band on the quad.

Lebanon Valley College welcomed 15 students for the Summer Enrichment Program, a seven-day program geared at providing incoming first-year and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latina, Asian, and Native American) and multiracial students with a jump start on college life. The program combines peer mentoring, residential living, academic success, and leadership development.

Six Wilkes University students are participating in a summer research project with Ken Klemow, a professor in the biology department.

More than 150 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes have been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll, emphasizing the Flying Dutchmen's commitment to classroom success.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on more than 1,200 students during the winter and spring semesters. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. The following students have been awarded degrees since the summer 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2017 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Nearly 40 Lebanon Valley College students are immersving themselves in a new country and culture as part of their study away experience this summer in countries including the Netherlands, England, Canada and Germany.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, graduates in the Class of 2017 took center stage for Elizabethtown College's 114th Commencement. Lynn Pasquerella, president of the Association of American Colleges and Universities, spoke.

Lebanon Valley College celebrated its 148th Commencement on Saturday, May 13 with nearly 500 students receiving their degrees in Louis A. Sorrentino Gymnasium. The 385 graduating seniors were joined by 38 doctor of physical therapy candidates, and 57 master's degree candidates.
